Destructive Steps began as a grassroots initiative to provide a platform for Australia’s street dance community — a space to battle, connect, and grow. What started as a small local jam has grown into Australia’s Largest Street Dance Festival, now welcoming hundreds of dancers from around the world each year.

We are a community-led, non-profit organisation dedicated to celebrating street dance culture, empowering emerging artists, and creating opportunities for connection across generations, styles, and borders.

Through dynamic battles, workshops, showcases, and education programs, we aim to:
